Our Organic cattle are fed entirely on grass and live outside for most of the year only being housed in the worst of the winter weather. They live as natural a life as possible and the lack of stress benefits both the cow and the meat. It is a little known fact that cattle raised on a diet of only grass produce better quality meat with enhanced taste and texture which contains a higher level of essential Omega-3 fatty acid known to help prevent heart disease, plus Vitamin E which boosts immune functions.
Our meat is traditionally hung for at least three weeks to give maximum flavour and texture after which it is vacuum packed and stored in our cold room where it continues to mature. Our labeling process ensures that every joint or pack can be directly traced back to source.
We never feed concentrates of any kind, our cows don’t eat rubbish, so why should you!
